NOVEL Holds Commendation Ceremony for Excellent Female Employees and March 8 Women’s Day Fun Activities

Heroines Bloom Brilliantly, Salute the “Her Power”! On the occasion of the 115th International Women’s Day, Huangshan Novel Co., Ltd. took the Commendation Ceremony for Excellent Female Employees and Women’s Day Fun Activities as the carrier to pay tribute to the hard work and outstanding contributions of female employees. This warm and respectful activity is not only a sincere greeting for the festival, but also highlights the enterprise’s deep care and recognition of the value of female employees, uniting the power of women to empower the high-quality development of the enterprise and allowing the “her light” to shine brightly on the Novel stage.

“With a touch of tenderness, live a life of calmness.” March 8 marks the 115th International Women’s Day, a festival that celebrates the extraordinary strength of women worldwide. To honor this special occasion, NOVEL organized the 2024 Commendation Ceremony for Excellent Female Employees and Women’s Day Fun Activities, paying tribute to the remarkable “her power” that drives the company forward.

The event kicked off in front of the Phase III office building at the headquarters. First, the document commending the 2024 Excellent Female Employees was read aloud. Subsequently, leaders of the trade union presented honorary certificates to the awardees, recognizing their hard work and outstanding contributions in various positions over the past year. It is their tenderness and perseverance that have propped up a crucial “half of the sky” for NOVEL’s harmonious development.

Representatives of the excellent female employees took the stage to express their gratitude for the company’s care and family support.

Following the commendation ceremony, the Women’s Day fun activities unfolded vividly in the same venue. This year’s activities included two exciting games: “Chicken Balloon into the Cage” and “Paper-Clamped Cup Relay.”

For “Chicken Balloon into the Cage,” each round featured two groups of 10 members (5 at the starting point and 5 at the finish line) competing simultaneously. Each group was provided with a chicken-shaped balloon and a fan. Upon the starting signal, team members used the fan to drive the balloon into a designated cage, then passed the fan and balloon to the next teammate for successive relays. Participants had to overcome environmental challenges such as wind, apply clever techniques, and demonstrate strong team collaboration to successfully guide the balloon into the cage. On-site, female employees showcased their skills—directing directions, blocking wind for teammates, and cheering loudly—creating an orderly yet joyful atmosphere filled with laughter.

The “Paper-Clamped Cup Relay” required each participant to hold a disposable cup and a graduated cup (filled with a specified amount of water), clamp an A4 paper between their knees, and walk to the designated finish line. They then handed over the cups and paper to the next teammate for continuous relays. The group of 10 that completed the task in the shortest time with the most water remaining in the cup emerged as the winner. Unlike previous years, this activity also included “male colleagues’ groups.” While participating in the competition, male employees gained a deeper understanding that women in daily work require more carefulness and patience for meticulous tasks.

NOVEL attaches great importance to the contributions and development of female colleagues, providing them with a fair workplace environment and a respectful platform for growth. The trade union regularly organizes women’s health checks and distributes labor protection supplies, offering strong support for female employees to work healthily and live happily. The annual fun activities not only help relieve work pressure but also bring joy and create cherished memories for all participants.
